Assassins Creed 4: Black Flag... Worth it or not?

Assassins Creed: Black Flag opened up the world to endless possibilities. The gameplay is based around a pirate named Edward Kenway who was only in the pirate business for money and fame. He slowly finds out about the Templar's and Assassins but it's already to late...he's already been sucked into the mess. He finds out about the Observatory and strives to keep it out of the hands of others or to keep it for himself. The gameplay outside of the eighteenth century pirate world is as usual short. It loosely goes in-depth about the character studying Kenway and the only options you seem to have are to hack computers. Other than that the gameplay outside of the pirate world is very limited. The combat system is improved but by only a little. When you're attacking someone its harder to block against another enemy. The enemies are easier to kill and you don't ever see brutes walking around together. Attacking on ships is quite hard seeing as your men will stumble into you or you bump into them while fighting. Attacking ships is also quite difficult unless you are sailing slowly. The boat doesn't respond well to quick turns (even if you are going as slow as possible) and reloading the canons seemed very inconsistent. Sometimes it takes 30 to 60 seconds to reload while sometimes it only takes 20. Over all the game was well made. It had a good plot and it really made you want to play again. Score: 9/10
